After its record-breaking run in theaters since its December 5 release, *Pushpa 2: The Rule*, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, and Fahadh Faasil, is now preparing for its OTT debut. The sequel, eagerly awaited by fans, will be available for streaming on Netflix in several languages.
Initially, Netflix confirmed that the film would release in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. However, just recently, Netflix India's official Instagram revealed a teaser announcing that the Hindi version will also be available starting today. Additionally, the digital release will feature 23 minutes of extra, unseen footage, with the platform teasing fans by saying, "Pushpa Bhau has heard you!" The film will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada on Netflix.
The sequel picks up from *Pushpa: The Rise*, following Pushpa Raj's journey as he cements his position as the leader of the red sandalwood smuggling network, having risen from a life of hardship. Rashmika Mandanna returns as Srivalli, his supportive wife, while Fahadh Faasil reprises his role as the vengeful police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, still reeling from the defeat he faced in the first film. The stage is set for an even more intense showdown, with *Pushpa 3: The Rampage* on the horizon.
Tragically, the film's promotional event at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre on December 4, 2024, was marred by a devastating incident. During the premiere screening, a tragic accident resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and left her child, Sri Teja, critically injured.
